if your just intrested in the noise, you can easily make an induction kit, me and a mate made one for his 1.4 106 quicksilver, made from a radiator pipe from a tractor or something massive, to conect pipework to throttle body, got an exhaust place to make a bent bit of stainless pipe to move the filter from the back of the engine to the front and bought a massive universal air filter from somewhere, looked and sounded ace, moddifed it after a bit by making a custom heat shield to wrap around it, not sure if it actually did anything either but looked good when the bonnet was open, and gave a nice induction roar.
Someone with a 225 tested the gains from an induction kit, compared to the standard air box and they found that it lost bhp with the induction kit on, so a replacement pannel filter is what the majority of people do.
But with the 1.4 not being a fast car if you were just bothered about making it sound nice i cant see a problem. just buy a universal one and make it fit or as said check the dia of the throttle bodies to the 1.6 and get that. just if you do put an induction kit on try and get as much cold air to the filter as possible, via cold air feeds, heat shields etc.
