Hi All,first post so go easy on me.....

We have a 2007 Megane 1.9 DCi 130....nice car and great drive but the fuel economy is abysmal.....trip computer thing says we are doing 27.7 mpg....it's all town driving by my wife so real steady stuff......any ideas what I should be looking at for a solution as we were expecting better things....cheers, Simon

As you say it's all town driving that's probably the reason why, plus the fact that it's winter so you'll have things like the heater, heated rear screen, mirrors, headlights on and the engine will take longer to get to optimum working temperature.

The cold weather is affecting my 120dci. I was getting high 40s low 50s and im getting high 30s. A full service usually improves the mpg a bit.

Cold weather is affecting my 1.5 by as much as 6 miles to the gallon (all short stop and start journeys - longer runs it creaps back up)
Renault Megane 1.5dCi (106)
Lowered 45mm (Spax)
RenaultSport R26 Front & Rear Bumpers, Spoilers, Door Bullets, & Exhaust
6000k HIDs (H7 & H11), LED Side, No Plate, & Interior Lights
18" Inovit Tarmac Alloys (matt black)
