Hi All,first post so go easy on me.....
We have a 2007 Megane 1.9 DCi 130....nice car and great drive but the fuel economy is abysmal.....trip computer thing says we are doing 27.7 mpg....it's all town driving by my wife so real steady stuff......any ideas what I should be looking at for a solution as we were expecting better things....cheers, Simon

As you say it's all town driving that's probably the reason why, plus the fact that it's winter so you'll have things like the heater, heated rear screen, mirrors, headlights on and the engine will take longer to get to optimum working temperature.

Best we have had is 33 mpg....today though the particulate filter light came on so needs a blast out.....maybe this could be affecting economy ....??

i have a 57 plate dci 130 currently showing 46.7 mpg, cold weather hasnt affected mpg at all

The cold weather is affecting my 120dci. I was getting high 40s low 50s and im getting high 30s. A full service usually improves the mpg a bit.

Cold weather is affecting my 1.5 by as much as 6 miles to the gallon (all short stop and start journeys - longer runs it creaps back up)
