Yes, provided:

1) You can physically fit them
2) They are 12V
3) They don't exceed the fuse rating for the original horn (some do, and of course, the fuse blows)

You should have used a relay when installing the Nautilus. The standard circuit isn't graded for the current the air horn pulls.

Hmm that could be why it doesn't work at present. Despite the fuse being intact / the horn working on direct 12V. But press the horn button and nothing. I have been looking for the source of the problem for a week now.

I saw that relay in the box. Went with the box to the bin. Prehaps a mistake on my part. :banghead

No Its not the horn itself. I have tried it in work on a DC power pack. Works fine.

The fuse in the circuit is fine.

But when all is connected and I press the stearing wheel button... nothing.

Its doing my head in, getting to the bottom of it!

Paddy,

I assume you have checked the voltage at the horn when the horn is supposed to be active.

Yea got a friend to hold a multimeter to the wires.

When I press the horn. Not a thing.

I just can't understand it.

Unless the the rotary switch problem have some how parted the slip ring for the horn?

That's possible, unlikely tho IMO, your probably best taking the airbag out and steering wheel off and having a look about to see what's what! :-)
