Can some one point me to the guide that explanes the kit required for installing a sub with the standard headunit.

I have one with mine, basically the amps normally take a low input, you can get something which you wire inline with the rear speakers on their way to the amp (if you take the feed from the rear speakers) which converts the high feed from the normal hu to low.. You can buy the thing from halfords, like a fiver I think, I have one on mine.. Hope that makes sense..

Do you lose the rear speakers? Ie is it either or?

Nope just splice off the wires, in otherwords the wire goes to the rear speakers but also you tap into it and that goes to the amp... Like a t piece ( if you were plumbing)lol

Next question at the rear of the head unit what colour wires need to be spliced, which colour go to either of the rear speaker?

Can't remember off hand, you can always splice them in the back of the car tho..

One way to tell would be to play music clip some wires n see what happens... Perhaps not the best way but it is one way to find out, I'll have to check my note book thing when I'm home for the wire diagram..
