No one makes it. Best you can do is knock the guts out of a standard cat.

It is bolted directly to the turbo. Take the plastic engine cover off and have a peek down the back the engine with a torch.

No it isn't a difficult job at all really. Everything is quite exposed and easy to get too.

I haven't done mine yet but it is on my list of things to do!

What I want to do is buy a second hand cat to butcher, don't fancy butchering my own. Then when I come to sell the car I can stick the original back on.

OK!!
Sounds like a plan, get 2nd hand CAT from breakers and just pull there inner bits out lol

Better that a remap of £250 getting around 30bhp, when just rip insides of CAT out and get around 15. For about 3rd the price Lol!!!

Could be alot hassle when you look at it there!!

Guna have2 gut either ends off, then rip CAT out and weld them back again.

Will the direct heat of the turbo not break the welds????????

You could try shove something down the left hand hole on that pic. Or I was thinking of cutting a hole in the side of it with an angle grinder and extracting the inards that way.

Btw if you try this you must wear a face mask, the dust created is extremely dangerous! Also, keep the inards to weigh in, it can be worth about £30 alone.

You will be fine. There is no lambda sensor on the diesels.
