DCi-Lambda Sensor??

Postby Deano16v » Sat Jan 19, 2008 1:20 pm

do the DCi's have them? my car is showing up a 01648 fault on the diagnostics.
on looking on the net it looks like this fault is actualy P0164 which is a lambda fault apparently.

Not sure on that one but I suspect they will have exhuast gas monitoring sensors.

The ECU will monitor oxygen in the exhaust. (I think? :? )

Are you sure the two faults are the same?

apparently its not actually that, the fault code is actually P01648 and is CAN-bus failure/malfunction...apparently It relates to general EODBII "P1" codes (They're not shown in Autodata) and the "CAN-Bus" is the interface used in all new Renaults for the ECU to gather info from all the various sensors around the car.

still confused :?
