Which bulbs to buy for my 04 Megane CC...????!!!

I was thinking of changing my foglight bulbs to LED ones!
What type of bulb do i need for this from ebay...?

Also, i want to change the number plate bulbs and sidelight bulbs and maybe interior bulbs to LED's! Can anyone tell me the right type of bulbs i need....?
I think they could be 501's...?

I just want all the lights to match that are LED's

You will fail and MOT with these bulbs in, and for info, the interior LED bulbs are rubbish.

Just search for Megane mk 2 LED bulbs on ebay and it should give you what your looking for. You will be on the way to making your meg a little Chavy if you go over the top.

Well I don't want to make the car look at all Chavy, thats the last thing I want to be honest
Just want to see how the Led fog lights would look

But if I bought them I would have to also Buy Led side light bulbs plus number plate one's just to match in!

LED side lights bulbs will make your headlamps look yellow, LED is a whiter light than H/Lamps, had them in mine for a week, looked a bit naff with all lights on. sorry!

I no I had LED side lights on my last car with drl's. They matched perfect with the drl's when i had the car parked up and the sidelights and drl's turned on but when i turned all the lights on I didn't like them!

Don't think I will bother getting them for this car?

Unless I HID the heads and dips but then I will need to buy the lenses so I don't blind other people? Well I think thats what i'd need to do!?

I've only ever had HIDs in projector headlights.. My understanding is that they need to be focussed correctly not to blind other drivers..

I don't know how the H7 replacement HID bulbs would work, but I'd do some research before buying them..

Your other option would be to get some Xenon headlights for the 04 model and fit your own HIDs instead of the factory bulbs and ballasts.
- There aren't many around, so are pricey..

Stay away from the aftermarket 'Angel Eye' projector headlights as they look good, but perform poorly - worse than the standard H7 units.

What do u mean by projector headlights....? Is that a different unit like?
Yes I would say they would be very hard to find especially in Ireland!
I saw these Angle Eye Headlights on ebay and around the internet! They don't look the best in my opinion!
Did u see she 'devil eyes' headlights do....?
With the built in DRL inside the unit?


If I bought these could I HID them...? Are these the projector type you were talking about?

Yep, those are projector units and will probably work with H1 HIDs (although best to check with seller first as they may be plastic lenses and marked 'not for HID')

I would still worry that the beam pattern won't be as good as the regular lights..
