Re: Please help
That is a very good question, the 2006 has differant lights and the bumper caps are a differant shape (looks better) but not sure how they changed it, at a guess I think it mounts the same but I wonder if it was changed around the headlamps, maybe the black grills are differant slightly to take into account the new lights, it was only a face lift, so I can't see Renault going to town to much changing it.
Front of car behind the bumper must be the same, lamp mounts must be the same, wiring changed, lamps changed but they look very close to yours/mine size wise, apart from the inside next to those grills the grills to me look steeper and shorter, overall the bumper to me looks the same apart from the lamp area, othewise they are changing bonnets, wings, mounting panels inside the engine bay, thats a lot of change for a face lift.
So in short I don't know really but did at one stage consider a change and the above where my thoughts on it, if you have seen this bumper in a scrap yard perhaps the owner will allow you to buy n try it 1st, they use to a few years back, it can easily be done in the car park outside the yard will take about 30 mins to pull the old one off if that, you might even find your old grills will fit allowing to use your origonal lamps.
If it does let us know, a few people have asked this question on here, you could be the only one to answer it.

Re: Please help
Simple answer no, it won't..
It won't line up with the lights so you'd have to change the lights and light fittings..
Would make it look like the newer model tho...

Re: Please help
Do the lights bolt onto the same mounts, I am guessing they do as it was only a facelift, going by the makes we have where I work car companies do as little as possible to the actually structure of the car unless they need to address a bigger problem, changing a bumper is not a major problem for them, so I am guessing as not seen one bumper less, that behind that new bumper everything is still the old meg, so all you would need is the new lamps and either the conectors for it or a new loom for the lamps, which if it is like the Meg 1 change from single to twin optics all you need is a 4 foot loom from the lamps to the relay box under bonnet so I supose tihs would have a similar loom, then with the new lamps you would actually complete the new look.
All Guess work mind you!
Does look better than the Meg 2 Phase 1 bumpers. but I personally would go for the RS bumpers as they look superb on. especially if you go the whole hog and get the twin exahust tail pipe extension.
