Remaps

Hi guys

Im new on here having bought my first french car and im glad to report no problems in first month of ownership!
I was just wondering does it really matter where you get the car mapped?ive seen prices from a company called remap science and was wondering if its too cheap??its £150 if you take the car there or £200 for them to come to you!
Apparently the take your data off your car then email it to thier office they play about with it and send it back for the technician to upload..... 255bhp and 380nm of torque afterwards?
What do you think as i dont want to wreck my car just map it haha!
I have a 225 megane trophy btw!

i hade my 1.5 dci done by remap science it it works a treat, he does download your data sends it to his technician and then emails it back updated, he was at my house for a while he struggled to read my ecu data then it took longer than expected to reprogram, but it all works fine and drives a hell of alot better

Hi Noddy if you want a remap get it done by RS Tuning and take the car to be done aswell for a custom map!
Had mine r26 F1 done to get 270+ and its awesome with no problems!
Got chart to prove ,its well proven that rs is the best place believe me or join Meganesport.net!! to veiw posts on this matter.

+1 on RS Tuning. I wouldn't bother with Remap Science, I've seen how much power he managed to extract from mine originally. It wasn't good!

You must have had more done like a Front mount, filter etc. to gain 270+bhp with the map, i know ppl who only have the rs map and are running 255bhp or just over

Hi Matty_225 the people u know with stage 1 with not as much hp are prob
running generic maps, mine was a custom one done on the RR which is the best!!
By the way Standard car at Mo,No filter or intercooler and their are other megs on
the forum that made more power than mine........
