Oil light

Hi all
I know this has probably been covered but as for real info can't find much. Right down to the nitty gritty.....
Everytime I go round a corner, brake heavily or sharply accelerate my oil & stop light comes on. I know what the problem is as I had the same in my r33 skyline which I sorted with a large volume baffled sump when I had my rebuild/forge. The problem that the oil in the sump is being thrown around the sump away from the pick up pipe losing oil pressure triggering the oil light to come on. What I need to know is... Is this a common problem?? Oil level is right on the dipstick and on the info screen. It's a 53 reg 1.9 DCI dynamique by the way

It isn't common. I can't believe (well I can) that lateral cornering forces are at work here. What grade oil are you using?

Are you sure it is oil light? No warning beeps? If there are warning beeps and stop light I would suggest you check the braking fluid level and/or change the pads and discs.
