Urgent problem help please! Mot in the morning!

Postby rob_s » Wed Feb 23, 2011 3:50 pm

Right my mot is currently over due by a week so iv booked init for tomorrow morning! I thought it was march it ran out! Tunes out it was the 17th!!! Of feb!

So iv not used it today and booked the mot, just checking the basics and noticed I have a headlamp bulb out! (drivers side)

No problem I had a spair,so struggled like a fucker getting it in blind as you have to

Turned lights on.......nothing! Still out! :(

Is this a common problem? If so what is it I need it sorted asap to use the car! Can't get to work without it and back in tomorrow night so it has to pas it's mot in the morning

And also where is the under bonnet fusebox? As all I can find is the little one behind the glovebox! And can't find the handbook due to recently moving out and a lot of stuff packed away (hence me missing the mot date aswell) only found out due to happening to be sorting z box out and it was in there!

Cheers for any help

Thanks

If its the under bonnet fuse you will usually have no number plate lights either
but behind battery black box with a lighteng bolt symbol
its battery out battery tray out ecu teased out the way to get to second level of fuses

You might of damaged the black plastic clip that you slot the bulb into. I done this the first time i changed my light. Unfortunately I had to go to the scrap yard and take it off another renault. I know this does not help ur case but other than that and the bulb I cant think what it would be
