You have some hope of finding a Carminat I have been looking solid for one since I got the car. Looking here and in france. No chance. Bar ordering one from the dealer.

Those that fit the laguna are easy to come by... but for the megane i have had no luck. (probably beacuse no one paid the crazy extra price when speaking the car.)

As to cruise control.... That an afternoons work requiring little effort.

Colour screen!? Was that ever UK spec? I looked into fitting the monochrome turn-by-turn briefly and hit a brick wall. Apparently the wiring isn't there. Was the same story for the Xenon headlights as well - they require height sensors around the car. Too much effort.

No the colour screen was never a UK option, I enquired with Renault UK when I bought my 03 megane dymanique but they said there was too much development work to fit it to rhd cars , even though it was shown in the brochures at the time. I have the b&w one in my cc, it is functional but doesn't look as impressive. How did you manage to fit heated seats? Can you buy the element or was it new seats.

I got the heated pads, which can be put in between the leather and the seat cushion - a bit fiddly but well worth it. My car had all the wiring there already, and yours probably will too. Pull the trim forward around the hand brake and see if there are two connections behind there waiting to be plugged into the Heated seat switches.

Were the pads from a dealer? And can you tell that you have played with the seats?

I got the pads for free from a mate who was breaking a Mégane. And no, not if it's done properly, mine look just the way they did before.

Sounds like I will be having to look into this and the tyre pressure sensors then
