Double DIN?

Postby rossjc » Sun Jan 16, 2011 11:38 pm

Could someone tell me if I will need to get a double din fitting kitting(i.e Cage etc) to fit my double din screen?

Or can I just get away with the fascia?

At the moment I have the stereo and cd changer.

Thanks

Hi, you should really get a fitting kit, ebays pretty good for them..
Also when you remove the cd changer and radio you will see a part of the 'frame' which needs to be cut out to allow the double din to fit.. That will be obvious when you take out the radio..

Another reason to have a proper fitting kit is that insurence, if it does get nicked, will be happier to pay out :-)
hope that helps
