Unable to change volume

Hiya,
I have just got a 55 reg 1.4 Megane Oasis but have a problem with the CD player.
Im able to play CDS, change stations, bands etc but the volume is locked on 14 and whenever i press the volume up or down it does nothing and beeps loudly when i press eject. anyone else had this problem or does anyone know what i can do to rectify it? its the standard factory CD player

on my megane I found a similar problem

I was driving to stoke so the radio started to loose signal

so i pressed number 2 the radio bleeped and tuned back in

then the radio would not turn back up

pressed number 2 again

and worked fine
