The circuits of all three lights are connected together somewhere near the tailgate. If one light works, then you need to check the point where these circuits are joined.

The three wires to the three brake lights join together somewhere in the rear part of the car, before the connector R2. Then, a single wire goes to the connector R2 located on the floor, near the left side B pillar.

Before digging deep make sure the current does not reach the rear light connectors. Use the voltmeter. If nothing helps, then just duplicate the wires from R2 to the lights...

Lost ground, poor connection inside the light, blown fuses, etc. faults are known. Yours looks like a broken connection within a 1m stretch of the wire loom, which is new, but fits in the overall picture. Are you sure you've checked the connectors on the lights well? Ask someone to operate the brake and measure the voltage on the connectors. I never needed to trace the wire loom, but, I would imagine, it should not be too difficult.

Had the same problem with mine this week. Off side brake light suddenly decided to pack up whilst other and high level working fine. Easy fix according to a mechanic !! looking from rear of vehicle with boot open you see the cables for lights go into main body of car above rear off side wheel. Remove cowling above said wheel and clean electrical connection that is apparently easily visible and problem is sorted.

Good luck !!
