HELP!!!!

been to the mechanic and he has told me my diesel filter housing is leaking and needs a new one!

renault want £150 for this part as it only comes with the cooler attached!

will a 1.9DCI filter housing fit??

if so please tell me! anyone have a filter housing?? thanks!

What model/age? If it's a 1.5 diesel 2002-2005, I think that the filter has to be replaced en bloc. There is no element to change (unlike the 1.9 of similar vintage). Obviously a different model or aged car may be subject to other factors. £150 sounds a bit steep though - especially for a cooler (which I've never heard of) that is more likely to be a heater.

Hopefully someone will be able to give you some better guidance.
