Thats wht i used coil overs, wasnt content with drop on springs.

You need at least -50mm for the wheels to meet the arches.

cheers guys. Ive been down the coilover route many a time before with VAG and jap cars. The springs were cheap, and i thought what the hell....
There will be a set of 18's going on and widening the track by about 30mm soon.

Eddie, how long do you recon the springs will take to settle, they have dropped about 25 ish mm at the mo.

Eddie-- wrote:depends dude some people way say other but mine took about 6 weeks, other's are different with the "hardness" of the springs i'd give it up to 6 weeks before they'll be anywhere near settled :)

would you say that the drop would be a gradual -45 over the weeks or should i have seen a significant portion of the 45mm drop instantly. Becuase i have just measured the floor to top centre of the arches tonight and they dont seem to have budged very much (5-6mm tops)

Cheers
