hey, might have been asked might not have been but.. can anyone tell me the mounting depth the front doors can take cause looking to put something with a bit more powerful than the pioneers everyone mentions and then what space is there for the rear speakers in a 3door?

Regarding rears:
I don't know.
In my 5 door I found no particular limits and used old, lovely (for me) 1303 Pioneers which I spared from my previous cars.
Regarding fronts:
it's not only a matter of depth, because the shield is profiled and "narrow" at its center, made for magnets smaller also in diameter.
So, even a loudspeaker with an acceptable depth, might actually not fit
It's better to buy something designed for the Megane

found it out now its about 54mm incase any other people are interested lol there is a limit cause you have to account the window going down behind it.
