Scenic - Check Injection - code DF025
My Scenic 2055 1.9DCi shows Check Injection with SERVICE light on cold start - once engine warmed, no message appears on subsequent starts. No problem with running or starting but want to get 'fault' sorted so had diagnostic and came up with DF025 - check preheater unit. Had this replaced (local Renault dealer had never ordered one before!) but not before checking all glow plugs both visually and with voltage reading as aware replacing these often is solution to Check Injection message. However, still get message and light on first cold start. Should I just replace the glow plugs now anyway even though there is no issue with car starting or driving, but I want to sell the car soon, ideally to a private buyer. Car done 45000 miles.

Check all connections going to and from the preheating unit.

The voltage measurements maybe red herrings. They can all be getting 12V nominal but not glowing (unless by visually, you mean you took them out and tested them with a spare battery - you don't make this clear). If not, best check the resistance of them. 0.6 ohm is normal. 0 or unreadable means knackered.
As mentioned, the wiring could be at fault - but make sure of the plugs first.

Check the glow plugs you will properly have one or more not working.
Re: Scenic - Check Injection - code DF025
Just to make clear - the glow plugs have been removed by mechanic and individually tested to show visually that all glow - I was told all had been measured for voltage (but not sure if also resistance measured) but then advised they were all OK hence decision to change preheater unit as this did seem to be error focus of DF025 diagnostic. Was told that if glow plugs were at fault then would normally expect a different diagnostic message code to one recorded. Perhaps next step is to replace glow plugs but had thought diagnostic would be more specific at locating problem - reluctant to just keep replacing parts in the hope will eventually solve issue.

Hi There have a look at this post it might have the answer to you problem. it's more of a none start problem but it does refer to the code DF025 that you are getting.

Hi I have a similar issue looking through the paper work Renault gave me I have the following issues but not sure what actually needs replacing these are the fault codes they gave me:
DF008
DF029
DF049
DF053
If anyone could help that'd be great thanks
