A silly question on remapping

Postby wanda » Thu Apr 08, 2010 4:32 pm

Is there such a thing as a moderate power upgrade? Meaning putting emphasis on fuel consumption and maintaining durability instead of maximum bhp? :hmm

Yes.

Many companies do just that. They don't go silly with the bhp and torque and if you drive carefully you could get 10% off the fuel. Angel Tuning are having an April sale which from memory gives 30bhp and 55nm for £225 (they come to you) They also have a 50% off for a second car if you recommend a mate for the same job so the cost can be shared (hint!). Other firms will offer a similar service. SR Tuning (sp?) is a user on here and does remaps too..

Best advice for Megane owners: sell it before it bankrupts you!
