Re: Just fitted double din touch screen dvd
cheers, was fairly easy to fit, its an eonon unit off ebay, was about £200 and then got a fitting kit off there too, just had to take out the old unit and bit below and then cut through a centre bit put the cage in and then the new sterio and there you have it, honestly as simple as that!

i phone should work i think, you can connect ur phone to it via bloothooth, and ipod via ipod lead so i see no reason why it wouldnt, i got rid of my iphone before i got the unit so never got chance to try!

Re: Just fitted double din touch screen dvd
You see I'm torn between spending £400-500 on a branded unit or alot less on this!

Re: Just fitted double din touch screen dvd
just to add, any phone can be connected via bluetooth, ipods via ipod cable and controlled via head unit, theres a sd card slot and usb connection for pen drive, theres aux in, and reverse camera. the screen can be removed and can be pivoted to different viewing angles at the press of a button,
hope this helps you deside

Re: Just fitted double din touch screen dvd
I'm just wondering if it can play videos from the iphone/nano and is it possible to use the steering controls?

Re: Just fitted double din touch screen dvd
im not sure, dont think it can mate, have to put them on the memory stick or sd card, but thats fine by me, and the steering controles dont work, but tbh its a 7'' touch screen so its no problem touching that!!

Re: Just fitted double din touch screen dvd
it came with the rectangular black one but the other was off ebay, think it was £25 for the fitting cage and everything, it does make it look oem so i felt it was well worth it!
