Its a full bumper off job as there are two screews holding it at the rear...

Takes around 10 mins to remove front bumper...

If you dont know how to remove the bumper ask or search.

Ok...

Under each arch there there is 2 trox screews (size 10)

Under the front end there is three bolts. (8mm dia.)

Lift the hood and and you will see 9 plastic screews (rotate thrrough 90 deg and prize up) carefull they break easily.

The Bumper is now free, pop off at each wing then carefully pull forward supporting the under side.

You will then see the retaing screews for the badge.

Repalce as removed.

you can take it off without removing the whole bumper, just undo the top half and there is enought flew in the bumper to get to the back of the badge.

When you say remove the top half. i take it you mean all of the plastic trim that covers the top of the bumper under the bonnet.

What he means is, undo everything except the bolts that hold it to the under tray. just make sure you have something to let the bonnet rest on the ground if you don't want it to get scratched :)

I think he ment bumper, as it tilts forward through this method.

Do not put pressure on it in this position as it will snap easily. For the risk of that your just aswell to take the bumper right off. IMO

Take care with the plastic clips at the top of the bumper. I "nearly" broke mine off when cleaning the intercooler.

I don't think that the previous owner was quite as gentle as me with a screw driver.....most are either broken or missing

A pack of ten (plastic screews) come from the dealers for a couple of quid.

would it be possible to get to the badge off if you remove one orboth of the grill inserts either side of the badge as these are easy to remove and there is alot of room between the bumper and radiator and the holes where the grills are, are of decent size

You could try but good luck getting a screwdriver in there to take out the screews.
