can any one tell me how i find out if my 53 [1.6]megane vvt has had a new dephaiser fitted theres nothing in the warrenty book is there any way of telling ????
any help would be gratefully recieved as my warrenty coming to a end and want it done under that if its on its way out.p.s symptoms i have are sounds like a tractor after start up smells like a diesel smokes like a diesel [yes it is a petro; 1.6] doesnt run as good as i thought it would and mpg seems to be falling away
how do i know if i have had a new one?????

i dont think there is a way of knowing unless it was done by Renault. If you take it back, they will go down the root of TDC sensor and camshaft sensor before they will even take a look it it.

the car was bought from a inderpendant dealer so it wont be done by renault
