photos from phone

Postby nickbell69 » Tue Jan 05, 2010 5:23 pm

Any techies out there that can help me would be appreciated.
I have Samsung Tocco mobile and since getting new computer with windows 7 on i can't connect phone to computer to get photos off.
Anyone any ideas? Rang Samsung "helpline"(i use that word very loosely!) all he said was must be a fault with computer!!
Have wondered if the driver is not windows 7 compatible.
Any help/advice appreciated.

Nick

Probably a driver issue with Windows 7

Is the PC detecting and recognising your phone or are you getting a little yellow :!: in device manager?
Make improvements, not excuses!

I just checked their website and it seems the phone software isn't compatible with 7 yet. Are your pictures on a memory card inside your phone? If so just whip it out and plug it in your comp.

You must have Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate to run Windows XP Mode. https://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtua ... nload.aspx

So depending on which version of win7 you have you may be able to still use software/hardware that you used to use in winxp

No computer doesn't recognize phone connection.
Never thought of bluetooth though! Will give that a go.
Cheers guys.
