Newly fitted IK with shiny bits (with pics)

Postby Gibzy » Tue Dec 08, 2009 8:01 pm

Hi gang. Managed to fit an aftermarket induction kit to the meg after some toil in getting the original airbox removed. There is to go on there a stainless steel heat sheild and stainless steel forced air pipework (courtesy of the company i work for)
see pics below and all comments welcome (good and bad)

Ignote the zip tie holding the bend back, its a temp measure

Nice tidy swept bend there! What thickness 304 is that?

Best advice for Megane owners: sell it before it bankrupts you!

Thanks. It is a 316 seamless stainless steel sch5 (approx 1.66mm wall) 90 degree bend. freshly cut from an Impreza induction kit. Im now looking for some stainless steel strapping to replace the ziptie next
