Trip Computers resetting on own!!

Hi guys when i start my car occasionally the trip computer resets itself, totally random did think it was if i left the lights on last time of driving and just stopped car and got out. However this is not right as it did it this morning without lights left on. Its a 1.9 dci megane 04 plate,with card and push start, is it a sign of problems to come!!! :eek

your car battery is on it's way out, not holding enough charge to start the car and keep electrics happy.
