Air Conditioning Adaptor? to refill with a DIY Can

Postby plazmanian » Mon Nov 16, 2009 3:27 pm

Hiya,

Has anyone seen the adaptor on eBay? The link is this one:

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Renault-R134A-AIR ... 518d7930e9

It looks like the right thing, my car is a 56 plate Megane II 3dr

The pipe is under the bonnet near the driver side, a silver pipe with a black screw on plastic cap.

Hope someone can help

Cheers

Nick

the port is still a high pressure port. that's just an adapter to make it fit. i wouldn't like to connect a low pressure can to a high pressure port... i imagine it'd be quite disasterous and explosive.

Bloody french cars, A/C a right pain in the arse, and now a headlight bulb has gone, Oh joy of changing one of those. Think I will stick to jap cars from now on.
