Alarm on 1.5dci Expression?

just sorting through some insurance quotes,
i would of thought that the car would have some sort of alarm system,
but ive tried the window down hand trick and no alarm as set.

i take it the expression has no alarm?

Parkers doesn't say anything about an alarm for your model.

I think only Dynamique upwards have a Thatcham cat 1 alarm.

Look at the C Pillar, the bit between the rear side window and back windscreen. If you've got an alarm fitted, there will be ultrasonic sensors there. Look almost like microphones.

i think imported cars don't come with an alarm. only UK spec ones were wired up with one in tyneside or something
