New Type flat wiper blades
Just bought a set of the later type of "flat" blades which fit on the hook type arms from e-bay-item number 200379968527 (sorry can't do links). These are from a seller in Manchester-ordered them thursday last week, delivered monday. Quality is good. Price was £5.64/set +£3.99 dely-damn sight cheaper than standard blades!

I bought some of them new style ones off fleabay too. I only have the flat style on the passenger side now as the drivers one did my head in jumping across the screen, wasn't impressed.

Re: New Type flat wiper blades
Yeah I got a pair from wiperblades.co.uk, there own brand and they were really very bad indeed! (polite version)
Grabbed another set of them but Goodyear branded this time from Costco. Almost as bad! The drivers side lifts at the bottom when going over 40mph and the passenger side judders up the screen.
Fantastic experiences

I only bought the wiperblades own brand pair because of the rave reviews they were getting. Auto express saw fit to give them an award too! Turned out to be not so great though.

Re: New Type flat wiper blades
I have a set on my car and they are pants to say the least...
They do look well, but skip all over the window (due to the angle that they sit agenst the window, i have tried to correct this with bending no good) unless they have just been cleaned or its coming down cats and dogs.
Im in two minds to go back to tecos own (x10 better) but i much prefair the look of the flat blades.
In hinsight i would not buy them again.

Re: New Type flat wiper blades
tbf, i've had 3 sets of flats (plus the original bow ones).
Valeo silencio x.trm - not bad, missed an inch on near side toward the bottom, lasted 11 months.
some budget unnamed things from ebay - crap, lifted at 55mph and was unusable.
Think i'm now on Trico ones - similar to Valeo in performance, half the cost. have lasted a lot longer though.
Original bow types give best performance but the flat ones obviously look better.

This topic seems to be about quality versus appearance. It reminds me of something.... women. Tried the latter, prefer the former.
