Sony CDX-GT30 RN

Just bought a Sony CDX-GT30 RN, i was told this would work with any megane II stalk and display.

It doesn't appear to work! The CD, radio works fine but the stalk and display don't, I have connected the Black, White and yellow connectors but nothing!

I have a 53 dynamic megane II does anyone have any ideas?

This should work. Does every pin on both connectors have a corresponding pin on the other?

Thanks for the reply, yes the back of the radio has all the pins, the yellow plug has 5 wires to it but space for six, is this usual?

The GT30rn only works with the update list 2006 onwards. It is the wiring inside the car that is the determining factor. Like me you will have to purchase a sony with a pre-out and cd changer plug and then the connects2 adapter to keep the display and stalk working. This info is not made clear anywhere as you have found out.
