((!))STOP light showing

((!))STOP light showing

Hi all,

My 53 Megane scenic has started to have ((!)) STOP show up when I am pulling away from a junction occasionally. It is in red and it accompianed by a rather sharp buzzing alarm. Does anyone know what this mean? The car feels fine and doesn't seem to be acting unusually. Any help would be great

((!)) as in the brake warning light?

sounds like low brake fluid to me. EIther way, the car is telling you there is something wrong so best get it seen to as soon as possible.

yep, red lights you normally have to stop right away :)

You should probably change the brake pads. I had the same experience. As they wear, the level of the brake fluid goes down. I hope it's not something worse.

Cheersfor the replies and yeah when we took it into the garage today the guy topped up the brake fluid which was a bit low free of charge. Thanks for the help.
