car fails to start sometimes

Hi All,

I have a renault megane 1.6 sport...and sometimes it fails to start.

I have recently have the spark plugs, the battery is ok, and it just fails to start sometimes...all the noises while starting are fine ...Anyone has had a similar issue?

My Megane 1.4 (1999) also fails to start now becoming aregular occurrence. However if I switch off and get out of the car and relock it. Then used the key to open it again and then switch on the ignition it usually fires ok. Any ideas? Edward

I too have probs with my 2000 megane alize 16v, 1598 cc, petrol.

Starts then at times wont start, but turns over trying to start. Lock then unlock two or three times with key fob and usually starts then. Frustrating to say the least.

Anyone got the answer?

Any help greatly appreciated.
