radio reception
signal on my stereo is useless tried changing whip on boot lid , bought amplified ariel off ebay that sticks to window , and changed stereo but still only got pure reception on local stations . anybody got any ideas

I think AlexB posted a while back about oxidation in the aerial base which happens on the standard megane.. i imagine it affects cc's as bad.

i think it will probably be the head unit, i had other cars with poor reception from their standard head unit and as soon as you go after market then the new head unit gives strong radio performance.
The weak radio performance is frustrating, especially if you want to keep the standard look or have the in dash mutli changer.
