Bonnet Cable Snapped

Hi All

My first post! I'm afraid its a techy question though.

I've come to open my bonnet today and the handle under dash moves very easy and doesn't release bonnet catch, could the cable be snapped, it opened fine the last time.

If it has snapped how can I get the bonnet up with causing no damage to the car?

quick note all, this is very easy to do and the bonnet cable very easy to replace, if anyone needs an howto let me know.

I did the same but can't get the bonnet to open does anybody know how to?
