Health Warning!!

Postby UK.BladeRunner » Thu Mar 05, 2009 2:34 pm

As I 'm a new Megane owner and not sure if this has been bought up before but I have noticed that there is a mirror underneath the drivers side sun visor! :!:

Not being funny or sexist here but to me that doesn't sound like the brightest place to put one, especially when the girlie's have a tendency to do their makeup while in a rush to get to work cause they're running late!..(see it very often on the city roads) It's in a very convenient place for them while the visor itself is actually partially obstructing their full view of the road!

Am pretty sure a lot of rear impact accidents could be avoided by not having those mirrors put on the drivers side sun visor! :hm It's almost inviting the risk of catastrophe where as trying to use the rear view mirror to do the same would become more awkward and not so appealing to do it!

Am sure this is also the case in other cars but am not keen on it's presence there at all...!!

Watch yer backs people!

Didn't you notice the shutter on the courtesy mirror? It is linked to the hazard light. Check the wire to the end switch, if it does not work -- it is a common fault...

it doesn't matter if there's a mirror in the visor... they still have the rear view mirror available... and if they were in say a van without that.. then there's always the wing mirrors...

One thing i noticed about the sun visor mirror was compared to my first megane ( the first shape ). In the first shape megane it had a mirror in the drivers sun visor but it had a cover, when opened it turned on a set of lights (normaly covered by the sun visor) What? is it cost cutting its not on the 'new' megane.
