keyless entry
i have 2004 1.6 dynamique. 27k mls. owned for 3 months. everything has been working fine but the other day when we had weather at minus 7 the driver's side doors became frozen and would not operate using the keyless system (passenger side ok as sheleterd from frost). now the weather has warmed up it is working again! anyone else had similar problems or anyone know what the problem is? i have been quoted over £200 for replacing parts as the garage seem to think it is a faulty aerial receiver.

Re: keyless entry
they're just not robust to withstand water and the cold. mine does the same.

Re: keyless entry
Is there a simple way to 'unstick' the locking button on the handle? My drivers door will unlock but not lock. The passenger side doesn't work at all.

Re: keyless entry
my rear drivers side door does that... eventually after weeks it works magically and sometimes does it again when it's really cold.
as far as i know... there's no solution other than replacing the handle.

Re: keyless entry
Also had same problem on a 53 reg dynamique, fixed under warranty. The cold weather does seem to hasten the batery failure in the key card. This is a Nov 03 car, and all the buttons on the door handles aee on their last legs, the drivers side have al gone as its the first side I get to from the works car park - can' wait for June and the resale.
Re: keyless entry
I had mine serviced just before Christmas and thought this 'new problem' was some consequence of the garage messing with the electrics. I took it back in and they told me the sticking door buttons story - £16 per button plus labour + VAT. They now stick from time to time (only on the drivers side). It is a pain, but until it completely fails, I can live with it.
