Strange buzz when turning engine off

A strange noise seems to have appeared. When I turn the engine off it is usual to hear the fuel pump shut down just after hitting the stop button am I correct? But until recently the "pump" noise has got louder to a point you can feel it through the pedals. A slight concern.

I have just replaced the front discs and pads does this affect it?

It might be the Air Con pump running down which would be nothing to worry about.
