Window Regulator

Postby bronkone7 » Sat Nov 08, 2008 12:23 pm

Hi All

I believe my F/N/S window regulator has gone.

1. Is there a way of checking it

2. The ones for a Megane on E. Bay don't look like mine, are Scenics the same?

Many thanks

Brian

take the door card off and look at your regulator you will see if the cable has broken or not.

Some of the regulators on ebay do look different to the genuine renault ones but they do work i have one in my passengers side door.

Sorry i meant checking the motor.
The cable seems fine.
Window doesn't open from either switch, have checked fuse, can't think of anything else.
Cheers

Hello Brian, i would take the whole motor/regulator assembly out of the door, then try a 12v supply from a battery and see if the motor works, that should get around any fuse/wiring faults in the vehicle. Regards Damian. :-)
