Brake light bulb code

Anybody by any chance know the bulb code for the rear brake light. I have recently changed the rear fog and a reverse light, so have a couple of spares left over from this. the code on the pack of the fog and reverse bulb is 382, purchased from Halfords, anyone know if this is the same for the brake light or if it is different! this will save me a trip to Halfords on saturday morning for a new bulb so any suggestions are welcome!

No, it's not the same.

I'm not really familiar with the non-ECE conform UK coding system, but I believe the correct code for the combined rear/brake light is '380' in the UK?

Just for information, the correct ECE code is 'P21/5W' aka BA15d (BAyonet fitting, 15mm diameter base, double filament), in the US the code is just yet another non-informative '1157'...

I can't tell you a code but save yourself 50% of the price and go to GSF or any other motor factor.

many thanx for the comment, i would like to save some money but i don't think £2.50 for a couple of bulbs is too expensive thanx! don't even know where nearest motor factor is! it really makes me laugh that whenever i buy bulbs from halfords i always seemed to be asked if i wanted em fitted, do i look stoopid or something? my dad or brother never get asked!
