oil... Oil...
Firstly gotta say this site has been a great help recently as I had dephaser probs, which are now fixed!! Just wanna check what's the best oil to use. Currently its got 5 30 fully synthetic but what's t best? Its a 1.6 16v Vvt had magna tech recommended but thought I'd go with your guys suggestions as you know your stuff, look forward to replies cheers...

you want to use premium oil (not the magnatech crap)....have a look at this excellant link

for the wife's 1.6 vvt I've been using Motul 0-30 fully synthetic (from opie oils).
I'm not sure if a good oil like this keeps the dephaser issues at bay ?
it's really your choice, if you going to go 18k between oil changes then a true fully synthetic is the way to go, if your changing oil every 9k or less then any half decent oil should suffice (as long as it has the correct acer std)
