OK was having a tinker trying to get my dip beam bulb cover back on, when done tried to close the bonnet, now im not into slamming it but even with a drop could not get the thing to close, with the aid of my six year old daughter holding the bonnet release catch open i got it to close, so had a tinker with the catch and it will now shut, however, noticed that the strike pin is just catching on the black plastic bar above the catch assy and on closer inspection the bar has moved sideways by 2 - 3 mm. The bar in question runs over the the headlamps and holds the bonnet retaining catch,
So question after releasing the two 13mm bolts either side and loosening the four star bolts I was still unable to get it to move sideways How do you remove it? I know some people have as it helps when changing bulbs so any intructions will be gratefully received
