New Owner

Hello People,

How is everyone...

Just like to share that I've become the proud owner of a brand new Megane T@chRun on an 08 plate (pictures to come).
This is the first time I have actually gone for a Renault, so not sure what the durability is like with them. But at present I am impressed with with the drive and the options it comes with (like climate control, cruise control, map lights etc etc - very impressive list for a hatch), and the build quality is not bad either - especially the way the interior and the dash have been designed. The dash looks solidly built (not like the plastic hojboj of my 1998 Vauxhall Omega) . Although the gear changes are a bit stiff at this stage - but lets see, and the MPG is what was mentioned to me by the sales person - but with only just 150 miles on the clock - lets run it in for a while...

The design is nice too - although the boot space has been compromised a bit, and the entertainment system (sorry did I say Entertainment?!?!) is a bit pants. I'd be grateful if someone could advise me on how I can upgrade the tiny little speakers.

I'm sure I'll probably have more question later in life for all those resident Megane Gurus - but for now take care all... :D

Regards
Khalid

Hi Wanda,

Its only a 1.5 dci...nothing fancy i'm afraid...

Everything else was too much when it came to the running costs....considering that the standard of living in London is shooting up day by day...Thanks Mr BLair and Mr Brown :banghead

The good thing about this model is that it cheap on insurance, £35 year roadtax and theres no C-charge... :dance

No congestion charge? Thats good news. I thought it was only the hybrids that got away with that
