Air Conditioning help please.
Air Conditioning refill help, i've brought some gas bottles to refill my air conditioner i know it's cheap of me but i know there's no leak and in the gas comes with leak sealer and it only cost me £20 instead of the £75 everywhere else was trying to charge me, does anyone know where the input valve for the air conditioning is i've found the release one please help. it a Megane 1.9dci Dynamiq 2003

Yep, there is only 1 port and that is the high pressure one..
I would NOT under any circumstances recommend the DIY kits as you can never know how much refigerant is in the system. Too much will quickly wreck the compressor.. and at £1000 ain't cheap..
In wiltshire there is a local independant offering a regas for £19.99. However the average is around £29.99 - £39.99

£45 at Kwikfit. tops up the gas and compressor oil.
takes 1.5hr due to there only been the high pressure port(other makes /models take half that time)

Rubbish, Its got nothing to do with wether there are 1 or 2 ports as the time to perform it is exactly the same in either setup.
The recommended times for Degas/Regas as specified by most A/C service equipment maufacturers is:
20 mins to take gas out and vacumn
10 mins vacumn hold to check for leaks
1 min to regas including injecting oil and dye
Done

get your vents blasted with anti bacterial fog as well whilst you're at it
