1.5 dci........turbo???

I Was wondering is it possible or shud i say ever done, or herd of , of people puttng turbos on the 1.5 dci? Doing this would probably help the car keep up with most petrol cars in is league.


Anybody shed any light?

But it already has a turbo, a 1.4 or 1.6 petrol would find it quite difficult to go infront of a 1.5dci (106bhp). Especially the 1.4.

Only thing you can do is put a bigger turbo on it.

I might be wrong but thought that all of the 1.5 DCi engines had a turbo, just like all the clios are 1.5 DCi's but you can get them in 68, 86, and 106 PS...

Do they not just tune them differently or run the turbo at a different pressure...

Like the GT megane has same engine as Renaultsport DCi 175 but the renaultsport version just runs at a higher pressure...

Id have a look at remaps or tuning boxes if ur looking for a bit of extra turque or power...

Yep as said above look into a remap or a tuning box at least, will see you beating the 1.6s i would of thort

They are all turbo charged.

The 68 doesn't have an intercooler however.
