Throttle Body Fitting

Hi i have just bought a new throttle body from renault does anybody know if it is just a case of bolting it on or does it have to be set up via a laptop.

I have no personal experience, but in some foreign forum someone suggested to disconnect battery for a while, then start-stop-start the engine -- the system calibrates itself. The official procedure involves Clip computer (read the manual).
