Has anyone sprayed the bumpers to body colour?

If so where did you do it? Was it expensive and how long did you have to wait?

Yes i sprayed mine,took them all off wet and dryed them to scuff up a little,them sprayed them with under coat,then wet and dryed again i repeated this twice then finally 3 thin coats of your colour and finally a coat of clear lacquer.I tied string to the lugs on the back of the bumpers and tied them on washing line on a nice dry wind free day/not to sunny they turned out A1 (good luck)

Thanks guys. The only thing I am worried about is my rear parking sensors, would they be affected once the rear bumper is off.

Disconnect ur sensor wires and pop them out and there u go spray away

wanda, are you doing it yourself or getting it done at a bodyshop? i need a dent and a bit of paint on mine and want to get the strips and bumpers done too. Seeing as you're fairly local to me i'd be interested to hear how you get on

I am scared of losing the warranty so I think I have to take it to a garage. At first I thought I could try it myself but..... maybe not.
