My GT

Postby Wideawake » Fri Apr 11, 2008 8:21 am

Picked up the Megane GT dCi 150 last week - I was sad to see my dCi 1.9 go, but the GT is the business. Still running in at the moment, no more than 3000 rpm for the first 1000 miles - no problem keeping up with traffic even with that limitation :-)

I doubt that it will ever be this clean again

This was the old car dCi 1.9, looks pretty good for a hard used car - 54,000 miles in just over 3 years!

Nice motor

Personally I have never restricted my revs when running a new car in, I've just be careful to not load the engine until it's warmed up and avoided thrashing the ass off it, but have always made use of the available rev range. But that's just me!
