hi, fitting new dip beam bulb, but it is stated in the haynes manual that you have to have them re-initialised by a dealer, is this true. thanks ortem. [2004 vvt 1.6]

Never heard of that one! Replaced driver's side dip bulb on my black meg, no problems apart from actually getting at the thing! Hope this helps.

Fitted new bulb today, as you said pig to get to and clip came off, had to jack car up for a bit more room, but all works well, so why the haynes manual says that i have no idea. thanks ortem.
