My Megane has handsfree locking. It only works on the driver's door. The buttons on the nearside are stuck and I have purchased a replacement button to see if this will solve the problem. Could somebody try to suggest how I can remove the handle to replace the switch part?
Thanks

i've got the same problem
my rear O/S has gone twice, first one repaired under warrenty now they want £130.00 to reair it again!!!! The part only costs £18.00. I contacted Renault customer services and they are trying to make them repair it again FREE as a GOOD WILL gesture??
i too tried to look behind the door panel but was'nt man enough to start pulling at the plastic door panel..

Does the switch to lock the door on the faulty dor still work or not? As far as I understand it, if the switch doesn't work and it's replaced, the door is likely to work again, hence my plan. If not, it could be the more expensive infrared sensor behind the tinted plastic.
Sadly I am back at Uni now for exams so won't be playing about with it for a while, but will of course post back when I do work out how to remove the handle and replace the switch (and whether it works!).

The door opens as normal but won't lock using the button.
had it checked today by the dealers and as i suspected, the button is faulty (again). for them to replace it, it will cost £130.00 so i'm waiting for a response from customer services to see if they'll help with the cost of repair as my warrenty is only two months over. (fingers crossed) i'll let you know how i get on..
